The Cipollas come to visit

Mama C, Papa C, Grandpa, Angelina, Amy, Amelia, and Anya came to see us in the hospital when Jubilee was born. It was so wonderful having family come, and since it was Angelina's birthday, they also had a little party for Ang in the courtyard outside our room.

This picture of Grandpa holding Jubilee is one of my favorites. He said he had never held a baby so new before. When all 6 of his sons were born, they wouldn't let him see them for like a week until they were ready to leave the hospital! I couldn't believe it. He said that even Grandma Cipolla didn't see them since she was knocked out to have them and then they went straight to the nursery! I'm glad times have changed.

Here's our mother's day present to Mama C- the "whatever" clock. If you went to Costa Rica to visit Jonathan when he lived there, you understand the joke.

Jubilee is here!

Our little Jubilee Rose was born on April 28th, 2011. She weighed 7lbs 3ozs, and she was 20.5 inches long. Isn't she a little precious pumpkin? These were the first shots we got when she arrived. Yay!

We wanted Giovanni to be one of the first people to meet her- here he is, giving her his first little kiss! I just love these guys!
On the same day, Jonathan got a lens baby (which he had been waiting and waiting for). On the box, it said "Congratulations, it's a lens baby".

Maternity pics

Jonathan shot some maternity pics of me with Vanni before Jubilee came. This one of Vanni I think is especially precious.

Spring Break

Here's some pictures from the fun we had over spring break! Jonathan and Giovanni made green french toast one morning. Here's Vanni getting to help!

Anya and Vanni went to the zoo one day. They're really starting to play well together and not just play separately next to each other like little kids do.
On Friday, we shot some portraits of some friends in Old Town. Giovanni went too, and we got some final pictures of Vanni with his mohawk before it was cut off.
Then we went out to Davidson Arabia to shoot a few family pictures before Jubilee came, so we would have a few pictures of me pregnant. We had a good time, setting up the camera and trying to run into the pictures!

Ice cream with daddy

I came home at 9pm from my bookclub the other day to giggling. Giovanni's bedtime is 8, so I was quite surprised to see Daddy and Vanni still playing around in Vanni's room. Dad confessed they had decided to eat ice cream at 8:15, so they were still a little hyper. Oh well! At least they still had fun!

Grandma and Gramps Land

We also got to go see their land near where their boat is docked. It was beautiful. Maybe someday we'll get to camp there with them!

On the boat with Grandma and Gramps

We had a great time with Grandma and Gramps at the boat. It was Vanni's first time on a boat, and he thought it was awesome.
The funny things was that while we were outside the boat, he thought it was a boat, but while we were inside the boat, he kept saying he wanted to go to the boat.

The boat storage unit was funny to us. It's huge, so we put the mini next to it to make it look even bigger!

Mommies group goes to the fire station

We went to the fire station with our mommies group this week. Vanni wasn't feeling so great, but he has been talking about getting to get on the fire truck for days afterwards.

An old one

I found these old pics on the computer and had never posted them (or even looked at them!) Look at our little man on his (then new) swingset.

My other favorite things about these pictures is Jonathan's hair. It's in that long-ish stage. I laughed out loud when I saw these after months of short hair Jonathan.

Weekend with friends

We spent the weekend with some of our friends in Pigeon Forge. It was a blast!

With all the snow, the kids...well, big kids decided and took the little kids with them. They all had so much fun sliding down the hill (again with mommy inside where it was warm).
Here's the whole crew.
