We got this cute hat from Jeremy and Trista, and I realized that I didn't have any pictures of him in it and it's already too small. So I stuck it on his head anyway and shot a few. It's still sooo cute.

The Nehrings came up to visit since we're all on Spring Break. Julia is such a nut. She put on these crazy stockings that went to a chicken outfit, but wouldn't put on any other part of the costume. Here Jonathan was pretending to be asleep, she snuck up to tickle him and he made a loud laughing sound that she thought was hilarious.
We were trying to show Joanna and Nick Giovanni's new costume. It's funny- I think Giovanni got as much a kick out of it as Jonathan did. He kept of laughing.
I mean really, have you ever seen a cuter little jedi? Click on the image to see it larger- he's sooo cute!
So we finally started our garden. Or, as you can see Jonathan started it while Carm took care of our baby and I took pictures and generally avoided work. I didn't want it to be too big, since I am still not convinced that I have the commitment necessary to take care of a large garden. But we picked a couple of things (onions, zucchini, squash, pumpkin and sugar peas) and put them in the ground. I actually am quite excited.
Giovanni didn't seem quite as excited as he was nearing nap time.
I'm most excited about the Giant Pumpkin. Jonathan keeps telling me not to get my hopes up, but I'm holding out for a pumpkin the size of the one on the seed package. I want a pumpkin so big I can make 20 pies out of it and use the leftover rind to make a wagon for my kid (jk).
Giovanni is 4 months old today! The good news is he's growing like a weed- 25" and 12lb 9.5oz.
The bad news is he got his 4 month shots today, so he's in a bit of a bad mood.
But I did manage to get a couple pics of him in his crib before he took his nap (that lasted all of 35 minutes...) to commemorate his turning 4 months.
Isn't he sweet. I don't know how two knuckle heads like Jonathan and I got such a sweet boy!
